China 2008: Arvalé Audience

These pictures are here to value an audience that must be applauded. With sun or rain these people would stay until the end of the show, paying attention to every little detail and, of course, waiting for the happy ending! PS.: This is the last post of this trip. Until next time.

China 2008: Arvalé Backstage

Presenting to you, the technical team of Arvalé. Taking care of the material, setting up the scenography during the show, playing the soundtrack, introducing the show, filming, taking pictures, even dancing (out of stage!) once in a while... and making it happen.

China 2008: Arvalé Getting Ready

Getting ready included preparing the coffee we used to give to the audience, seting up the stage (counting on the Chinese help!), making up... and after the show, putting everything back inside the storage room.

China 2008: Arvalé Show

Finally, some pictures of Arvalé. It was performed every afternoon of all of our days in Kunming, at the Da Guan Park.

China 2008: Backstreet Bar

Besides the show Arvalé, our musicians performed at the Backstreet Bar, Kunming. We ended up going back there some other nights... and we felt ourselves at home. One night they played with one of the greatest percussionist in China.

China 2008 (07/28-07/30) - Train to Kunming

Yes... from the 28th to the 30th of July... 39 hours inside the train to finally arrive in Kunming! (coming back to Beijing took us 48 hours!) We had 5 seats and 6 sleepers, so we took turns. It was a really long trip, with amazing views, a lot of reading, talking, playing cards and CUP NODDLES. One more China experience!

China 2008 (07/24-07/28) - Beijing

We finally got to CHINA! (Actually, we are already back to Brazil, but I will publish the pictures from today... Sorry for being late).

Our few days in Beijing, AS TOURISTS!, included the Tiananmen Square (image 01), the Forbidden City (images 02/03), a tomb of the 13th emperor of the Ming Dinasty (image 04), and the GREAT WALL (images 05/06). We also did some walking through the city (image 07) and had a lot of dumplings (image 08)!
